The Uprising
Brand exploration work for a premium spa skincare product manufacturer, whose gender-neutral range was created for people who look beyond the ordinary to treat their bodies to the best.

The brief called for a new brand with a distinctive new name, look and feel; a brand cool and elevated in a category saturated with sameness.
We began by defining the brand DNA and establishing a clear brand purpose: ‘to elevate every body’s every day’.
From this ‘The Uprising’ was born. Cool, edgy and bold, the name gives the brand the energy of a movement, encouraging all to rise up and elevate their every day.
The logo combines a classic, luxury script with a bold, punk uppercase sans serif, reflecting the brand’s position at the intersection of luxury and rebellion.
The spa city of Bath, where the products are created, inspired a colour palette taken from the Roman Baths themselves. The green of the waters is paired with the gilt bronze-coloured head of the goddess, Sulis Minerva, found at the site.
The product range’s premium nature is reflected in the elegant packaging design, with the bronze foil logotype standing defiantly on its side when space allows, echoing the brand attitude. Product names are introduced by their benefits: ‘Restore Body Lotion’, ‘Energise Body Scrub’, and so on.
The website, social channels, and advertising all bring to life our edgy and bold, inclusive and kind personality, encouraging all who seek more to leave the boring behind and join The Uprising.
