Profund is a leading provider of pension software in the UK. Their ‘Mortality Tracing’ product non-intrusively checks whether or not pension scheme members are still alive. Due to out of date pension records, 82000 of the 8.2m UK pensions in payment are being paid to the deceased, costing pension schemes £200m a year. The client’s proposition ‘are your records out of date?’ was used to create a series of 7″ mailers that looked like out of date records. Single titles from the 70′s and 80′s ‘released’ on the ‘Mortality Records’ label made for a highly impactful and amusing piece that has generated significant response and business for the client.
