The Killers

28/02/09 / the killers

Went to see The Killers in Cardiff, and they were fantastic. Made me want to buy myself a matador jacket and staple a pigeon to each shoulder. Great support too from Louis XIV.

x Egypt

19/02/09 / partying the red sea

Sorry about the terrible pun, just been to Egypt for half-term and maybe had a bit too much sun. Found Nemo though.

x Cock

25/12/08 / charity christmas gifts? load of cock!

On behalf of our wonderful, kind-hearted clients, this Christmas we're sending cockerels to Africa to help some of the poorest farmers in the world via local charity sendacow.org - merry Christmas!

x Cornwall

27/10/08 / i saw three ships...

Spent half-term relaxing in Cornwall, breathing in as much of their lovely fresh air as I could. The pic above was taken from the lounge in our apartment which we got from the nice people busy living up to their name at helpfulholidays.com

x Dylan

05/10/08 / gotcha!

After trying for almost two and a half years I finally got Dylan to smile at the camera - and all dressed up smart too! 'andsome little fella ain't he?

x Black Kids

25/08/08 / the last days of summer

Spent the bank holiday at 'The Last Days of Summer' music festival at Stowe Country House, Buckingham. Black Kids were excellent, Fun Lovin' Criminals were great fun, and the rest of the line-up at the inaugural event included Athlete, The Rascals, Supergrass, Richard Ashcroft, Young Knives and Royworld. Bit like a mini Glastonbury, 'cept more manageable and much much cleaner.

x Tanzania

21/07/08 / can you feel the love tonight?

Just got back from Tanzania where I saw this little fella and the rest of the pride take down a zebra in Ruaha. I was amazed how close you could get to them, apparently they don't see us as food, but I'm still not sure I like the way he's looking at me... maybe I shouldn't have worn that stripy top...

x Evel Knievel

23/06/08 / get the double deckers ready

I've finally started my DAS motorcycle course!

x Clive Owen

26/05/08 / when in rome...

Accidentally walked on to a film set in Rome and became extras for the morning - look out for 'Duplicity' starring Clive Owen (above) and Julia Roberts (couldn't get a pic of her due to her enormous bodyguard) in cinemas next March. You might spot me and Emma in the background of the scene set outside the Pantheon (and you might even hear Emma shout out "Look - it's James Bond!!!")

x FA Cup

05/04/08 / portsmouth 1 - west brom 0

In an effort to make me more of a 'real man' my football-loving ex-army brother took me to Wembley to watch Pompey beat West Brom in the FA Cup semi-final. It worked a treat.

x Mexico

25/03/08 / mexican waves

We've just got back from two weeks of doing not very much at all in lovely sunny Mexico. I'm bloody freezing now.
